About Salty Olive

Salty Olive is all about offering customers an authentic Spanish pinchos (pintxos) experience in the heart of Wokingham.

By that we mean, a selection of delicious small plates; each with huge, explosive flavours, complimented by carefully selected Spanish wines and beers.

Combined with a warm and friendly welcome, and a relaxed atmosphere; customers can sit back, relax and enjoy the Spanish pinchos culture.

Our kitchen has fresh ingredients delivered each day, so our menu also changes daily. We have a wide selection of fresh, cold pinchos displayed on our bar and delicious home-cooked hot dishes available every day.

All our dishes are prepared fresh on a daily basis, so we can cater for many dietary requirements, ideally with 24 hours’ notice.

What our customers say

We discovered the Salty Olive a few weeks ago and are already on our fourth visit. The food and service are stunning. We also attended the sell-out music night to celebrate the Spanish National Day and were blown away. On the one hand I want the Salty Olive to be a roaring success but on the other I’m terrified I won’t be able to get a reservation as it’ll be so busy. All the best to the team!

The food is delicious and concept is incredible. Caroline was fantastic and really made our experience at Salty Olive extra special for a birthday celebration. As a side note, I would encourage people to be honest, otherwise independent like this won’t exist in the future and it would be a shame to see this fail.

I'm a personal stylist and recently hosted a style event at the Salty Olive where we invited fashion and beauty businesses to showcase their products and services to the local community. Susannah and her team could not have been more accommodating or professional. She worked with me tirelessly to create a stylish and fun event for all our guests and the restaurant worked so well as an interactive event space. I have already reserved a date for another style event next year as the feedback from attendees was so positive. I would thoroughly recommend the Salty Olive as the perfect stylish venue to host a business event.

Kieran was an excellent host at, what was, my first experience of a bottomless meal. The food was delicious and, despite my reservations that we'd never see any staff, he was really attentive and I felt we had great value. Not something I'd do every week but this was great fun and the booths at the back were lovely. Thanks
